Centacare NQ offers advice to Senate Inquiry

Equal access to counselling and mental health support for all people is part of the very foundation on which Centacare NQ is built. Too often mental health services are developed which are not designed to meet the needs of all members of the community.
This week, Centacare NQ had the opportunity to discuss these issues when senior members of our Leadership team took part in the Senate Hearing into the 'accessibility and quality of mental health services in rural and remote Australia'.
By presenting our submissions and opinions on the current state of play, we can help the current government forge a new path to ensure a more balanced approach to mental health for all of Australia.
