School Savvy 2026

Centacare North Queensland is excited to announce that School Savvy is back for 2026, helping local families get ready for the new school year with affordable school supplies and uniforms.

Each year, School Savvy supports families by offering quality pre-loved uniforms and essential stationery items at low cost, ensuring every child can head back to school feeling confident, prepared and proud.

Research shows that children who are set up for success, with the supplies, uniforms, and resources they need from day one, are more likely to thrive at school and in later life. By removing financial barriers, School Savvy helps create a fair start for every student.

The 2026 school savvy pop up shop will open in January 2026, offering families the chance to shop for everything they need before the first bell rings. Donations of new or gently used uniforms are already being collected at community locations across Townsville, thanks to the generous support of local businesses and community members.

School Savvy is all about community helping community, and every donation, volunteer, and purchase plays a role in supporting local students and easing the back-to-school costs for families.
