HIPPY Burdekin turns 2
Centacare North Queensland's HIPPY Burdekin program has turned two! Families and HIPPY tutors got together to celebrate on Wednesday, September 21. It was also a special occasion to mark National HIPPY Australia week, which ran from September 5-9. Dark clouds threatened to dampen the day, but the celebrations went off without a hitch. A free sausage sizzle, craft activities, games and a birthday cake were enjoyed by 19 adults and 37 children who joined the festivities. Thank you to all who came along!
The Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY) is available in the Burdekin and Mount Isa. For more information on this program, click here.
