ACCESS ­ EMPLOYEE
ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The ACCESS program is continuing to grow at a
significant rate. Our total income has increased over
the past year and we continue to expand into a wide
variety of Employee Assistance areas. ACCESS Townsville
now holds contracts with many local organisations as
well as acting as an agent for other ACCESS programs
nationwide. ACCESS Mount Isa is the major employee
assistance program provider for the area including State
Government and all mining companies.
Highlights
· Commencement of our first national contract ­
providing EAP services to sites Australia-wide.
· Provision of an on-site counsellor / educator to a
large technical college.
· Expansion of our Corporate Coaching services,
providing Manager Support and Professional
Supervision to a variety of agencies across North
Queensland.
· Wearefindingthatmanycompaniesarecontacting
us directly seeking an EAP service, based on our
reputation in the community as a quality provider.
· Our partnership with the Townsville/Thuringowa
State Emergency Service (SES) continues to
strengthen, with Centacare being the preferred
provider of SES, in both a community capacity
and as a provider of EAP services for their staff and
volunteers.
· 90% of employers report that the service is achieving
their goals to increase staff morale and reduce
unplanned absences from work.
Overall, this has been a very successful year for the
ACCESS program. We look forward to more growth and
expansion in 2009-2010.
